Thread: 2nd Domain

Hi,

i currently have a website, www.thehuskyforum.com hosted with vodahost.

i have a 2nd website i wish to put online, i know i need to buy the domain name but do i have to purchase a second web hosting package or can i do it on the same one?

Hello you can publish more than website on one account (providing the domain names are owned by you)

You have to go into your control panel and click on the addon domain icon and put the domain name in here.

When you publish using BV, instead of publishing to public_html, you have to manually change it to include you addon domain.

eg public_html/addondomain.com

You can buy a domain through VH, however if you buy from somewhere else, just remember to point the name servers to VH as detailed in your original welcome email.
