Question Compatibility with Firefox and others ...

    Hi.

I have designed my site and it has been up and running for a while now. It looks good to me in IE7.0, but using Firefox (and other browsers) it is (apparently) a mess. Menus don't work, page layout is goofy, etc.

I wasn't aware of this until I used a Linux-based computer recently that uses Firefox for its browser and saw the jumble that once was a lovely (imho) website. Apparently Mac users have trouble accessing some of the content too. Ugh ... this is not a good thing.

Is there something I am not doing (or something I AM doing) to make my website not compatible with these other browsers?

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, I am viewing in FF & the site needs to be centred on the page using page properties. You have been building the site as you see it on screen & should be built from the left of your BV screen & centred via page properties.
On the menu part its working fine in IE , but in FF its not fully opening & cutting the words off in the drop down menus. It appears to be fixed at the width of the text in the main menu. Something that may fix this! Is to add 2 or 3 sp**** bar clicks to each of the top menus text. So go to the menu’s properties & on the text of “Onstage” add the three sp**** bar clicks & save. (Might solve the problem). The whole of this menu also need to be lowered down a few pixels as its touching the gold line above.

Cool Re: Compatibility with Firefox and others ...

    Hi all,

I am now currently viewing this page with Firefox.

I have configured Firefox as Chris adviced [before]

I still cant view images which I posted in this forum.

I can view them perfectly in Internet Explorer

    Any ideas?

Could be his problem is the same as mine?

Maybe not, I just viewed you site with Firefox and it is beautiful.

Thanks for the advice Chris. As long as I've been looking at the "page properties" window, you would've thought I would have seen the "center in browser" checkbox! Duh!

I will try the fix suggestion for the menus and see what happens.

    Thanks again!
