Adding Text to Published page

I am trying to make my site more commercial by adopting recommendations from others. However, I have added further text to a page (COACH) but when published the lines of text are on a white background. I have examined the page properties and it shows the colour correctly. Can anyone help please as I have much more to do?

I don't see a page "COACH". nor any text on a white background unless you're referring to the "Under Construction"?

Jcaywood. Yes that is the site. Coach is my first attempt at adding further text and links - so far unsuccessfully.

Hi Interpreter ... it sounds to me that you have applied the white as a background colour to your text ... Remedy this by inserting new text and do not touch the background color, it will be transparent by default, this should solve your problem. (In the web builder there is color for background and color for text)

LadyEye. I have removed all the old text, re-typed it character by character and still when accessed by the web comes out with a white background. Most odd.

looks ok now with the text having no white background, & it did last time i looked.
