Thread: 404 error please help

people keep telling me they are getting a 404 error, forbidden ..you dont have permission to access this page on this server...
they get it about 50% of the time flipping thru my pages and people are also saying that all the .gifs do not load, they load only sometimes and slow

Everything came up for me images and so on nice concept.

well ive looked at it myself from other computers and i get that error myself half the time and alot of the images dont load either so there is something going on here

im still getting a 404 error, forbidden ..you dont have permission to access this page on this server intermitently, and its comming from dif computers from dif people so not a cashe issue, its really begining to bug me, please any other thoughts on this

Don't see any problem either, went through every page every link forwards and backwards.

Still loads fine for me. Your site may be "on the edge" as far as security settings on individual computers.

OBVIOUSLY it is YOUR SYSTEM (your computer), as more than 4 others report no difference with our own varied outside systems.

Re-publish the page in question, refresh your browser, and get on with it.
If after everything you still cannot access it, then do whatever you can to optimize your computer, your browser, your connection (likely culprit), or your approach: arguing with those that offer help is not acceptable in these forums!

PS: If you are using Eastlink to connect to the internet, THAT is your problem entirely!
