Thread: page size big questions

hi im such a newbie at this, but when i see my sight on my computer it looks perfectly fine, the size of the page. When i see it on other peoples computers it looks too big.

First Question.
Is this because i have a 22" monitor screen.

Second Question.
When i try to put the format At 1000 wide and 800 height and save it, does that mean the page will set to that format and be that size or do i have to make everything on my page smaller between the rulers?

Ok I gave a extensive look at your site right now your page width is about 1400 your banner is 1275 your best bet is to have your pages brought down to 1000. To answer your question yes you will have to fix it so everyting will fit accordingly please look at my thread on view your website I gave you alot to fix your on the right track just tweak those areas you will have an awesome site the rest is up to you.

But how do you set your page so that it stretches to fit the resolution of the viewer?

You cant, because the users can change the size as they want to......

Best to keep within the recommended limits to keep down all that scrolling sideways.......very annoying.
