Question Strange code appears on published website

    Site is: www.romancehomeparties.com.

I have hosting with Bluevoda and built the site in BlueVoda.

The pages are named, saved and published.

    Home page name: index
    More Reasons page name: .com/more_reasons.html
    Why Us page name: .com/why_us.html

On every page listed above there is strange HTML code peaking through at the top of each page.

This code does not show up when I'm editing the pages in BlueVoda page maker.

Any idea how to get rid of it?

Are you using any type of script or php code ?¿

If so, make sure it goes into the right place or use an html box..........or save the page as php............

Just changed all pages to .php and the code still appears. I don't have any strange script or codes on there, other that what's offered in the BlueVoda builder tool. I'm a novice so I wouldn't know how to add too much anyway.

    Any other suggestions?

Just had a second look at your home/index page and you need to delete the original index.html file on your website first for the php to take effect.

use you BV ftp program or your file manager in your control panel.

You have published a form which should have been saved as extension php first............

I have no idea what you just said.

If I delete my index page, won't that delete my home page?

I only see one file named "index".

Get used to using BV ftp....(bluevoda file transfer program)
Look under tools at the top of your BV and then view the video tutorial
on the ftp program...........its worth it for the future.

You only have 1 page named index on your computer, but when you published it, BV added the extension html.

You told me that you have republished using the php extension, so you now have 2 index pages on your server/website.

Delete the one on your website with the ext of html.

Dont worry about making a mistake, you can always publish it again.

    Thanks!

That seemed to fix it. You were correct, there were .HTML files for each of the pages, I deleted them and the code disappeared.

I used .HTML because I saw a post that said it was better...anyway, thanks for the tutorial.

Your welcome......glad you sorted it out.

Come back if you have any more questions.................

p.s. All pages except form or php SHOULD be saved as html..............

Your request form on the home page doesn't validate, you will have a lot of blank submission without it. Also once sent you have not created a success and error page so it comes up page not found. Haven't looked further but this should help.
