well, said that this would be a slow progress for me,took on a lot more then what my knowledge allows been watching allot of tutorials, have found them VERY good and have learned allot what I looking to achieve is start a forum so am now thinking that all I need is a main page with a link(button) to the forum and then I load the phpbb onto that and work on the forum topics do I understand this correctly or have I fallen off the bus again!!! all help and comments will be appreciated thanx!! |

thanx very much for the reply having fun with my page!!! as a result, now have more questions if I have my main page,do I 1st uploaded it and then load phpbb onto that or how does it work just wondering about the link to go to the forum??? all help and comments will be appreciated thanx!! |

Well you have to install the forum in a sub domain or a sub folder of its own.. then you can link to the forum from your navigation.. make sure when you install the forum that you install it to one of those two and dont overwrite your main domain with it. Karen
