Thread: A Password here a password there

Can anybody tell me if the password to "my Vodahost account" is the same thing as my cpanel password.
Do I have to have two separate passwords?

I see I can edit the "account" one on the support page but how would I change the cpanel one should I ever want to.

Hi, the one to your VH Billing account & one to cpanel will be different.
The cpanel one will be in your welcome email.

If you happen to loose your passwords put in a support ticket. I loose mine all the time. lol

Username cannot be changed
but
passwords can..................Change it in your Cpanel.

Yes the passwords they gave you as the MAIN account is the same for the cpanel. If you want to change it theres an icon in cpanel to do so. These two user names and passwords will be the same.

The ones you use for support and billing will be different as you arent logging into the server.

My advice is to leave them alone and your welcome email will always be where you look if you forget! You will have enough to remember when you set up new email accounts and ftp accounts...
