Thread: Keywords

When I built my site some 2 years ago i was ubder the impression that the more keywords i put in the better my site would be as far as google etc are concerned. I ended up with about 50 keywords. The site seems to be doing fine. But of late i keep getting phone calls as we all probably do from optimization companies wanting me to spend my hard earned with them. They are saying I should not have more than 5 Keywords or phrases. Can we have some feedbavck on this issue please.

Dont spend your money..............they are correct of course......pick a few important keywords and use them within your content, images, alt tags, header etc.......but dont overdo it.
