    Default link and publish

Yes, I did watch the video but still stumped. I have 3 pages published....home, contact and a thank you page. I did as suggested in the tutorial but it comes up "....cannot be found on server". Do I need to put all three pages in one main file or what?

    Thank you,

    Brandon

EDIT: I named my contact page "browndogcarp_contact". The error says it cannot find the URL listed.

    www.browndogcarp.com

    First I do nto think you get the concept of linking first part of the link is your web site address http: // www. browndogcarp.com/ (without the spaces) Then you add the page you want to link to contact, then the file type either .html or .php so it would look like this if it has no form on it;
    http://www.browndogcarp.com/contact.html
Not sure how you saved the page, and I could not pull it up either way.

My fault...I did type it in the way you have it and as posted in the video.

I don't need a separate domain name for each page, do I?

    Thanks
    Brandon

EDIT: I saved the contact page as "browndogcarp_contact"...btw.

Fixed...however it has a bunch of characters in the background. How do I get rid of those?

Here is what your contact page should have been saved as first....its showing ok on your site............
    http://www.browndogcarp.com/contact.php

This is how you should save your success page......its showing ok
    http://www.browndogcarp.com/success.html

You now need your error page as well....................your nearly there............lol

edit: get rid of (delete) the 2 with the html endings.

Well, if you're saying it is showing up ok, then I think I'll leave well enough alone! What exactly should I get rid of(delete)?

    Thank you,
    Brandon

EDIT: And you aren't seeing any of that nonsensical character stuff in the background?

The page you are seeing with all the code in the back ground is a html page (contact.html), you have a form on this page so it should be a php (contact.php which is there you just have to link to it). Follow David's directions on the success page and create an error page. And as we said earlier delete contact.html from your file manager. Not sure what the third page is that you said you published, we need a link to tell you the problem.
