Thread: setting up download problem

Your suggestions concerning the following problem will be appreciated.
I've been trying to follow instructions for download creation. All seems to be right, except it doesn't work.
The site being built is http://www.homespunways2.com
I published a page named http://www.homespunways2.com/dwnload.html which has a link on it for downloading a pdf file named freemoney.pdf The url made for this pdf file and clickable from the dwnload.html page is http://www.homespunways2.com/freemoney.pdf

I opened blue voda ftp, connected to server, created a folder on the right side called pdffiles. I double-clicked on the folder, pdffiles, so that it opened. I found the file, freemoney.pdf, on the left side and drug it into the folder. I disconnected from server and tested the set up....it doesn't work. Have been struggling with it for quite a while.

The ambition here is to have a page containing links to click for downloading various items....the dwnload.html page would contain the links for the .pdfs, .docs, .zips
I searched for comments about problems like this in forum and found none. Perhaps you can show me the error of my ways.

you left out the folder detail in your link on the download page

http://www.homespunways2.com/freemoney.pdf

should be http://www.homespunways2.com/pdffiles/freemoney.pdf
