Thread: Naveldesign Help on my index.php on Joomla! website

Dear Naveldesign,
I can't figure out why when I click on Home on my Joomla website a list of files shows instead of homepage. All other menus come out fine except the Home menu. At the browser, the URL for home is http://kokwetbhm.org/kokwetbhm/ while the rest are like http://kokwetbhm.org/kokwetbhm/index.php? . I have thoroughly checked the Root Folder on public FTP to make sure index.php file is included and yes it's there. I have asked this question on Joomla forum, but none has come up with a solution. Kindly click on HOME at www.kokwetbhm.org to see what is eating my head. I will really appreciate your help!

It looks as tho youve installed it both in the domain, and in a folder within the domain. You need to decide where it is to be installed. I also get an error message when trying to navigate BACK to the .org

No configuration file found and no installation code available. Exiting...

You know what? You hit the mark! This thing has eaten all my brains for two weeks and your answer after many others tried has solved it! Thanks a million and I nominate you for the "Web Guru" of the year! Like you guessed it, I had index.php in both the domain and the folder within the domain and that messed things up!!!!
