Unexpected File Format

that is an error message that I keep getting I have:

restarted my PC
Downloaded the latest version of BV
Searched for info on it On the BV Community Forums.
Looked for an Answer in my control panel [ Need help looking in there]

And Im lost, This page is my Home page and IDK why its not coming up on BV, I need some Help, Please

You must open the BV software and then open the page. You cannot directly click on a BV file to open it.

I open The BV Software [ That is the BV Site builder, Correct] And then I goto File and try to open Home.html, Im still getting that error, Unexpected File Format.

Did I not understand you right ?

Its because you saved it as html extension and not bv, as directed. Change the file types to all files, and it may be possible. Otherwise you will have to choose new...import from html and rebuild your page. when you save.. save as and make sure you choose the bvp extension defaulted to blue voda. When you publish it will become html on the server.
