Thread: How To Delete?

i recently uploaded a large video file to my public HTML folder. i have given people a chance to download it and now i want to remove it. When i view the file in the public_html folder i have a couple options, rename/move and delete. well when i select either option nothing happens, i cant delete it or move or rename it. any ideas?

If you are using the file manager in your Cpanel, select the file, choose
delete
then look in the top right hand corner and you should see how to delete it.

If you use the BV ftp program, select the file and press delete.

If you use the BV ftp program, select the file and press delete.

i have tried that but nothing happens, i press delete but the file stays ??? i will try with cpanel and get back to you.
