    Default Quick questions

So I read somewhere that building a site with Bluevoda will only allow me to publish my site with Vodahost. What if I already have a host account with *******?

and Second, whenever I try to publish my site, I click the publish button and it says you must save first. But I saved a bunch of times, to my desktop, my bv folder, both as .php, and .bvp.

    Thank you!

Well you cant publish it to ... whatever is starred out. Its proprietary software and works only on vodahost servers.

Second...You must save as a filename.bvp dont save as php or html.

Third.. it wont matter until you have a vodahost account to publish too. I suggest you get one right away. MUCH better that what you currently have im willing to bet.

    Wow,

    Thanks for the quick response!

As I stated in my previous post I have already tried to save my site under .bvp and it keeps saying must save to publish. I will get an account but would like to get passed this step first :)

one last thing, I am trying to use a banner from the affiliates program but how do I insert the html they supply me with. Clicking on insert html does not work, the banner wont show...

    Thanks again!

Regarding the save problem, don't save as "filename.bvp". Simply save as "filename". The bvp will be automatically added at that time.

Thanks I realized the save problem was due to the fact I didnt change the name of my file from "Untitled1"

But I still need help adding an affiliate banner from vodahost, it tells me to copy and paste this:

    <a href="http://www.vodahost.com/partner/idevaffiliate.php?id=*****_1_1_62"><img src="http://www.vodahost.com/partner/banners/bbb21.gif" border="0"></a>

into my site but I cant see it in preview mode..

    Smile Re: Quick questions

Paste the code into a "HTML Box" on your Blue Voda Page itself (the icon is located in the top-left vertical toolbar in BV).
    * You need to "embed" code on the page if it is to be seen on the page, and placing it into a "box" keeps it contained and ready to run.

Yes I put it into an html box, and the html box just does not exist in preview, if I put anything else in the html box it shows up, but not the banners...

    Thanks :)

Double-check the code to be sure nothing is missing or a space is where one should not be .......

    Thumbs up Re: Quick questions

    It Worked!!

This may sound stupid but it was my Kaspersky antivirus blocking my banners.
