So I read somewhere that building a site with Bluevoda will only allow me to publish my site with Vodahost. What if I already have a host account with *******? and Second, whenever I try to publish my site, I click the publish button and it says you must save first. But I saved a bunch of times, to my desktop, my bv folder, both as .php, and .bvp. Thank you! |

Well you cant publish it to ... whatever is starred out. Its proprietary software and works only on vodahost servers. Second...You must save as a filename.bvp dont save as php or html. Third.. it wont matter until you have a vodahost account to publish too. I suggest you get one right away. MUCH better that what you currently have im willing to bet. Karen

Wow, Thanks for the quick response! As I stated in my previous post I have already tried to save my site under .bvp and it keeps saying must save to publish. I will get an account but would like to get passed this step first :) one last thing, I am trying to use a banner from the affiliates program but how do I insert the html they supply me with. Clicking on insert html does not work, the banner wont show... Thanks again! |

Regarding the save problem, don't save as "filename.bvp". Simply save as "filename". The bvp will be automatically added at that time.

Thanks I realized the save problem was due to the fact I didnt change the name of my file from "Untitled1" But I still need help adding an affiliate banner from vodahost, it tells me to copy and paste this: <a href="http://www.vodahost.com/partner/idevaffiliate.php?id=*****_1_1_62"><img src="http://www.vodahost.com/partner/banners/bbb21.gif" border="0"></a> into my site but I cant see it in preview mode.. |

Paste the code into a "HTML Box" on your Blue Voda Page itself (the icon is located in the top-left vertical toolbar in BV). * You need to "embed" code on the page if it is to be seen on the page, and placing it into a "box" keeps it contained and ready to run. I pasted the given code and all appeared well. Follow Vasili's lead and check the code.
