Concern about using Javascripts if end user has this disabled

Hi everyone. I'm totally new to building websites but as usual I push myself to the limit.

I've found lots of neat things I can do with Javascripts that will make my site (which I don't yet have) funky and fun to use. But I'm concerned that the information on my site will not get through to the end-user if they have disabled Javascripts.

What is the best way for me to build the site?
