    Default HTML extension

I have built a multiple page website using blue voda, but already own a domain and have hosting set-up elsewhere. When I try to upload the files via my hosts ftp connection I can only give .bvp file extensions and need to give .html or .htm extensions in order for the files to be read and published. How do I change this? I have tried copying and pasting the HTML code into a text editor but the images etc do not render in a browser. HELP!!!!!! It seems the Blue Voda's built in FTP does not give the option to connect to my host - is this correct?

BlueVoda sites can only be hosted at Vodahost.....This is made clear within the bluevoda descriptions.
