I just upgraded from aol 9.0 to 9.1 and it has caused a problem with Bluevoda. From any Bluevoda page, the help and cPanel boxes don’t work. And in order to preview I have to manually specify which browser to use. I can work on and edit the page with no problem, but that's all.

It is not a problem, really, only a matter of you not being totally aware that Blue Voda is IE defaulted, and will always seek to Preview and function optimally in IE first.

You need to simply allow that to happen, even if you do set AOL as your personal default browser. Let BV do it's thing in IE the way it was built, or move to a better choice of Free and clean browsers, like Slimbrowser or even the dreaded FireFox (or Safari for MAC)!

* Choosing AOL as your personal default browser has long been advised against, not just for the long list of incompatibility issues, but also for AOL's penchant for introducing invasive advertising and malware. Think twice about that one! You should do a Forum Search in here to see all the longstanding issues.... you would be better off going with Slimbrowser or Firefox if you like the Tabs, just to get free from potential threats.

Thanks for the advice, Vasili. I'm still mystified, however, why help functions suddenly stopped working. They were fine in 9.0. How do you suggest I fix?

Again, it's the HELP function in Bluevoda that doesn't work.

Let me explain: ALL of the above issues are due to the fact that upgarding, your computer has lost the default browser settings. Since all these functions are browser based, none of them works. Establish IE or AOL or whatever other browser as DEFAULT for your computer and it will all work again.
Go in your computer Control Panel, Internet Options, and set the default browser.

I went to my computer control panel, opened internet options, and could not find a thing that resembled naming default browser.

YouSHOULD have Internet Options, Programs, Default Browser.

I have Vista, but i recall having similar options in Windows XP too.

Not on XP Pro. Honest.
