Thread: Coppermine Photo Gallery...

Hi everyone,
I have installed the new version of "coppermine photo gallery", but I am not happy with it, the older version was much better for me... Now I downloaded the older version from the main site of coppermine again, but I don't know how do I have to install it to my site instead of the new version... I know this forum doesn't support the "fantastico" things but, maybe some of the users who has experience about this subject can help me... Thanks a lot...

uninstall your new version through fantastico and install your older version, upload all the file using FTP client then click your coppermine directory/install.php .That's it

That's ok. but I can not remove it... When I try to remove there comes a page as "prepare for removal" I can not remove it before preparing... When I click prepare, there comes a message as : Warning: shell_exec() has been disabled for security reasons in /home/myserver/public_html/galeri/prepare_removal.php on line 32
Operation completed. Close this window and proceed with removal.

But then when I click "remove" doesn't change anything... I can not remove it...

well... you didn't mention it before
You can dellete manually . Dellete all the file using FTP and dellete the coppermine mysql database in control panel. the effect will be the same
