Thread: Do I need to have Photoshop?

Wondering if I have to have photoshop in order to work with the templates? I have Corel X3, will that work instead?

I use Corel and Xara, and Corel has has Photo-Paint for photographs, so it should be fine for pretty much anything you want to do.

Hmmm. Photo Shop is superior. If you can get a copy cheap I would recommend it. You only need to know the basics like 'saving for web' where you can re-size images and reduce their kb size etc. Otherwise, CDraw is good if your comfy with it.

Corel bought out Jasc Paint Shop, so, Its all but photo shop. Much easier to manage. I used paint shop pro for years and still prefer it for animations and doing many things much simpler and easier than photoshop.
