Thread: Need some help here about a form... thanks...

hi everyone ...
i am here again to ask another question ....
the problem is i made a website and did a form from scratch but when i publised i realized that well the customer did that if you dont fill the form you would still go t6o next page, and what i need to know how to make it give the people an error page or something to make them put all the necesary information.... i hope i am making my self clear....

Go to your form right click on the selected box in which people need to fill in data e,g name, address, Right click, Properties, Validate there you'll see DATA REQUIRED click the box and hey presto, do this with the every one you need data, if you do this you should let people know that and field marked with * is mantadory, hope i explained this ok

i tried that you are saying but for some reason i cant make it work thats why i was asking if there is another way to do it...

When you say you created it from scratch, can you elaberate? Because I created my own form and was still able to double click on the text fields and validate them.

I did the form with the form wizard but whaen i try to make it so it validates it just dont do anything it stays the same

Is your blue boarder (shape) under the form (needs to be) also make sure that the form area completely encompasses everything nothing is outside the form area or real close. I would also set the tab propoperties they are all over the place right now. See if that is the problem.
