Thread: Does it matter where I live?

Before I get started, I need to know that.

I'm in Australia, and I'd been told that it was best to get a host from down under, because of speed issues.

I'd like to know your opinion on that. It may have to do with what one wants to do on with the website. Would that be true? For instance, if I wanted more local traffic, would a local host be better?

But if I was seeking more international traffic, would it make any difference? Does location matter?

Every website is International and besides that what is most important is whether you are Etech savvy?

Do you know html, xhtml, java,My SQL and plenty more? If you dont then
