login into vbs affilate window and see if your ip is listed. Then you know it works..

1.Are all companies that provide affiliate programs , retain the IP address of visitors sent through a particular partner?

2.Is this a solution to preventing the loss of commissions that came through certain partner when visiting a clears the cookies on the computer files of his?

Look in your browser history to see what ips you visited. It will be in your temp files.

As far as what ALL affilates do .. theres no set answer. Ask your vendor these questions. We dont own these companies so we cant TELL you what their tracking limitations are. For Vodahost you need to ask them these questions and read the website FAQ.. most of this is answered already for you.
