Thread: Newbie ? #2

I'm working on a index page and I'm scraching my head. The page width is set at 800.
I open a new page,choose my backround color, click center box, then continue.
I then place a shape or a marqui running the width of the page 0 to 800.
When I preview it, the shape or marqui, doesn't cover the complete width of the page. HELP

The page size does NOT equate to the screen size..............

The screen size could be different for each visitor and the browser will adjust accordingly.

If you set the BV width between 800 and 950 you should be OK in most cases.
