Thread: BluFTP connecting problem

Hi,

I'm very new in all this, can someone help?

When I click on 'connect' in BluFTP the Username and Password don't seem to be OK. And I tried and doublechecked many times before posting this question. In the tracewindow I can read that Username is OK but then it fails to log in.

And why do I have 4 different Server IP numbers to choose from in a dropdown bar in that same connect-window? Neither of these numbers 70.86.ecc ecc match with the one given by Vodahost.

use the latest version of bluevoda, if you are new, i am sure your IP will be there

1) Close down the old version.
2) Download the new version.
3) install the new over the old.
4) reboot.
5) continue as normal.

OK done.
IP server options are now 5 in connect-window, still not corrisponding with one you provided.

And attempting to log in it still says in dialog window :
"331 User xxxxxxx OK, 530 Authentication failed, sorry"

Next step?

Do you have a VodaHost web hosting account? If yes what is your domain?

Which is the first of many to come if I just manage to pubblish something.
dakloodje.nl , dakchip.nl and spumante.nl are all waiting how things will go with first site.

Have you transfered to Voda, or, did you point your domain to Voda servers?

Domains are originally registered and hosted at Dutch registry Mijndomein.nl
but they have lots of compatibility trouble with Frontpage, NVU or other sitebuilders.
Sites are made in BluVoda and I registered at VodaHost. Now which step I follow to transfer and pubblish?

Please open a support ticket, I think you are using the wrong details to publish.
