Thread: Disable right clicking on lightbox

is it possible to disable right clicking on the light box? I know there are other way around it but i have a lot of images i want to protect as much as possible.

I don't know if BV gives you the option (I don't use it, so I don't know).

There is javascript code you can add to prevent right clicking (There are posts on this forum with the code, and a google search will turn up the code as well) but it does not protect your images from being taken.

I have not been on the forum for quite a while, I know there were several posts discussing this, but a long story short, it is impossible to prevent your images from being taken off of your website. Disabling right click, while it may deter a small percentage of the people who are wanting to take your images, it annoy a far greater percentage of your users who have no intention of taking any images.
