    Question Downloadable Link

Hello everyone am having a real problem linking a download link on my site for customers to download an ebook. when i click the link it opens online in the pdf format instead of prompting me to save or open with and download the file. Can anyone help me with this problem please.
    this is the link www.pikah.com/example.pdf

    Thanks in advance

i had no problem. it opened up right away and all i did was click on the save icon and directed it to my documents. closed it up and reopened in my documents. all works fine for me. it does not give you the option to open/save/cancel it just comes up and then the customer will save it on their harddrive. you may have to put a note on how they download the ebook.

I know what you mean, but what i see is fine. When I click it, I am presented with the document which is great. At the top but below my browser, I can click to save it or click print to print it. Perfect!

I use vista now but I got a feeling XP gave you that save/ open thing.

I don't think you have anything to worry about.

If you put your document in a zipped folder you will be presented with these options you are looking for.
