I have a file for my contact page where when I publish it, it turns into a php instead of html and when I try to go to that page it says it doesn't exist. how can i fix this?

A contact page must be saved as php in order for the contact form to work. BV automatically saves such a page with a php extension. That means when you create a link to it (or try to go to it with your browser), the link must end in .php not .html.

Most forms will normally be published with the php extension.
