Thread: HELP! My images do not show!

HI

I need really help fast.

When I put in a template from BV, then a photo and text to my BV webbuilder, it is all gone after saving it and then open it after.

I get the mess image do not show... Sometimes it is the template do not show and sometimes it is the photo.

I am getting crazy about this now

Do anybody know what I am doing wrong?

Yes... you didnt do the tutorials. If you take the time to do them your frustration will be much less, and you will know what you are doing much quicker than posting here and expecting simple answers.

Hi everyone!

I am sitting here and have a deadline to tomorrow to finish my webpage.

I was finish with everything and I save it as index in my folder I create.

Then I publish and everything seems to work fine.

THEN! I open again the index file to make som changes, and there I get Image not found!!! on the template I put in from BV

I have sit 2 days and make different template and photos on the template, and the same come everytime after I have saved and open it again!

It seems like I just have to keep them open on my BV webbuilder, not close and open again. Then everything is working fine :(

Anybody that can help me fast???

Mybe this is simply for you but for me it is not, and hey I have look at the turtorial many times. I dont think you understand the problem.

I have deadline thats why I am trying to get help fast, but I dont think you need to give me this kined of mess if you dont want to help.

That is far and beyond, thick and thin, shallow and deep.
How many pc's are you using, or the same one. Did you save images to images folder?(check and see)
How about a link to site, so whoever may view your page, in order to get your best answer.

I am using 1 pc. And I see now some of the problem. It is showing on web but not on bv webbuilder. There the image is not found. And it is problem to work with if the template do not show :)
I maybe be stupid but do I need a seperate folder for everything? I only have one folder I save all my examples in.

No.. you just need to use the bv folder to save too. Now I merged your threads AGAIN. You also dont save with an extension on your pages..just the default.

Again.. do you have hosting? Are you publishing? If you dont have voda host this will not work on another server.

I have vodahost. I have 2 domains at voda. So maybe thats why I am doing wrong because I am not saving on the bv folder. I have other webpage too so I try to keep them apart. I do publish and the problem is the image dont show on my bv webuilder. Its difficult to explain.

Make a new folder for the new site inside bv and put a link to your site

I think I maybe know what the problem is. My maine computer broke down but I manage to copy the Bluevoda folder and I paste it to my laptop, now I see that all my bv files dont show image only text.

That would be it. You need to change the path to the images on your BV page (your new computer is likely different than the old). Probably the easiest way is to delete the images off your BV page and re-insert them with the Image tool.

That's assuming you have transferred the images to your new computer.

I have copy one of my photo I use to the folder image on BV folder, but it can still not found it. That this goes with the templates I downloade from BV? do I have to download them again to the new computer?

Yes if you are using another computer & transfered the BV files, there is a big Chance you haven't transfered the images. Best bet, is to pull up your website images on line & just right click on the images to save them to your new computer & reinsert them to your page.

I think I understand the system here now. There are like 100 things to consider all the time its easy to get confused...
