Thread: Links on the same page

Hi there,

I am new to blue voda and have reviewed the tutorial on links, however, it doesn't seem to go into detail on how to add a text link that ports someone to a specific place on the same page. I want surfers to be able to click on a link at the bottom of the page that will drive them to the Aweber HTML box (that is at the top of the page) so they can sign up for my product.

Bookmarks

Hey there,

I followed the Bookmarks suggestion, which is very straight forward -Thanks! However, when I published it, the link does not direct me to the top of the page. Any ideas?

follow the directions and it works everytime.................you may be having cache problems.

hit f5 a few times to refresh

It's not working. I add the bookmark, right click, name it and click ok. Then I place the book mark on the spot where I want the link to go (an HTML tag with Aweber).

Next, I go to some text (Click here for more info), highlight it, right click, add the book mark. It shows the # plus the name, i.e. #Top of Page. then I click ok.


Both in preview and when published the text link does nothing. I have hit F5 about 10 times, still no luck. Plus I tried it on another computer, no luck.

hmmm. not sure.. I wonder if it's because you have two links going to the same bookmark? try taking one off and see what happens

I removed one of the links and it still does not work????

without seeing the file itself I am not sure, happy for you to email me the page and I'll take a look for you, however it is 4am here and going to bed, but if you want to email me it I'll sort it out tomorrow for you and email it back. My email is below.

If anyone can help out here, as I have received the file and am buggered if I can see the issue... That's the first time I have been beaten by a problem on a BV page!!!! Everything just seems set up correctly but just for the life of me cannot fix these bookmarks.

Only an idea! But shouldn't this page be a .php page & not a html for the form. Just wondering if this is creating any problems? Only a thought.

dunno, but it's a bugger of a page, freezes up my pc... and Karens LOL

LOL.. Its a java form.. its a mess.. it locks my computer up. Just use a bv form and be done.

Also your book mark name should not contain spaces. What else do you have running.. ?? I got some message about ***** MOBILE DEVICE trying to run
