Default FTP Access Question

Is there a way to access blueFTP from other computers? Or is it only availible on the computer that has had the Blue Voda software downloaded to it?

A friend of mine was showing me how he is able to access his FTP account via the web. I was kind of hoping the same option was avilable to me.

You can access your account/website using any ftp program from anywhere.

If you look in the programs section, you will even see that BV FTP has its own .exe file.

The FTP under the programs/start menu is how I usually access it. Is that what you ar referring to whe you say look in the programs section?

As for accessing my account via the web or from another computer would I have to download another FTP program to do so?

every computer has a directory called programs
under programs you should find bluevoda
in the blue folder you should find the ftp .exe which you can open without bluevoda itself.

Which ever computer you are on, you will need some sort of ftp program to access your account using the details in your welcome email

Ok I'll see if I can find the ftp folder. Is there a way to access the ftp from the web without any ftp software installed. The friend of mine that I spoke of just types in ftp://www.domain.com and is able to access his ftp files like that. I don't believe he needs any particular ftp software installed to access it just the web address. He is using go daddies hosting.
