Thread: Google and old pages

I took the advice from Vodahost and changed the page URLS to reflect the site, as he showed us in the advanced page naming example fionasflowers. Submitted a new site map to google, which has now been verified. The only problem is when I type www.startgettingpregnant.com into google, all it shows up is the old contact and info pages, which of course can't be found. Went to google dashboard and found it was downloaded 6 hours ago. Is this too soon to expect it to show up again on a search, or do I have a problem?

Well you are seeing google cache of your pages. Just because it has the sitemap doesnt mean its recrawled your site. You need to redirect those old pages to the new so you dont have errors.
