Thread: My purple background (mostly covered by big photo) turns white

My domain name is bioenergy-balancing.com

My problem is that on my homepage, the purple background shows up as white when I click to other pages on the site and then return to the homepage. It has a large photo-image on top of the purple background.

I want it to appear as a big photo floating on the purple background as big as the users' screen--the first time they see it and then on subsequent visits.

Any ideas you have about how to make this happen are most welcome!

Not quite sure how it got there? but there is some code on your page that might be creating the problem. body {background-color:transparent} I believe its something to do with the top menu & its overriding your correct setting of bgcolor="#800080".
The odd thing is that it shows up in IE but not the FireFox browser.
