Hi all. I have spent some time searching for answers to my question and I'm sure they are here some where but with my limited knowledge I must be missing something. What I want to do is create a section on my site that allows people to ask a question so I can answer it. And naturally, allow other users to read the Q&A's. I don't think it's a "forum" I'm after, however I will gladly accept all advice. Thanks in advance, Glendene |

Well, somewhat a forum type of thing. But there must be settings so you have the mainsay for every question as forum administrator. You have to utilize this webpage software application. vBulletin by Jelsoft(look under), I have visited other forums and they use this same type of application.

If not a forum, you might be better off asking them to email you a question & post it on a Q&A page. (Might save the spam) Also not sure if this type of thing might work.

Thanks Chris. I set up a manual system along the lines of what you said about setting up an email Q&A page. You can view it here if interested. (you will need to scroll down). I quite like Flier13's lead to vBulletin and it is prob the answer... just cant afford it at the moment. DOH! lol. Thanks guys |
