Default My page looks different from differnt computers

When I login to my page from my home or several other computers it looks absolutely fine, however when I use my work and my friend's computer it looks bigger and not all the pictures are visible at the same time, so I have to scroll sideways to view the other part of the website.
Does anybody know why this is happening?

This could be due to the fact that you are building larger on your computer than your friends are viewing in - ... it is best to set your page margins to no wider than '1000 wide and keep all elements within that range ...

as well be sure you are using web safe or web friendly fonts only .. this also matters as a font will revert to the users own default font if the font you used is not available on their computer

the width of the page is 800, and I used Arial font
do you think that could be because of different kinds of browsers?

Well yes and no... but, you should be fine in all browsers, so unless we see the page we are not sure what may be happening??

Can you post a link to the page in question??

You do need to fine tweak between the two most popular browsers, IE and FF ... but it sounds as though you are having a bit more trouble than usual...

with our text, it is good policy to add just an empty space at the end of the text box .. this ensures the text lies exactly where you place it... if you notice the blue handles around your text, it should lie evenly with the last text line .. and then of course just add a space or two after the last word ..

show us your page and we can take a look if you like ..
