    Lightbulb xml file

    hi
In order to authenticate my ownership of my site, I'm asked to " save the xml file to your root folder of your web site". What doas that mean ? or
I'm asked to "add <meta> tag to the <head> saction of the default website. Where should I copy the html text ?

    Thanks a lot you all

If this is for GOOGLE its an html file isnt it? You just make the file according to their instructions and the ROOT would be the main folder.. if this is your MAIN domain.. then you upload it to the public_html folder... If its an addon... you navigate inside that folder and upload it there.

for LiveSerch webmaster tools ( same for google) two ways to authenticate your site :
1st : save a xml file to a root folder of the site
2d : add a metatag to the "head" of the site
    both in html
    tnx
