Thread: Domains finally transferred, but....

just typed in one of the url's and got this error...
what am i missing now

Did u login to vbs and point the to the vodahost server? Did u publish an index page? When u transfer the domain name.. it doesnt transfer the pages of the site too.. you have to do that

they were all already pointed... had the server info there when i checked...
publish an index page?... i don't understand. I just want the domain name to point to the .com
so when anyone types in any of the domains i transfered they will redirect them to the .com
I did all the redirects correctly i think...

none of the transfers have any filed in their cgi-bin i just checked in my CP ...
how do i put an index page in there?

is anyone there?
I copied and pasted the index page into each of the pub files for the transferred sites.. but its still not working
maybe i did the redirects wrong... currently the way i've done it now it shows each of the transfers redirected but there is missing information in one of the provided columns.
the directory column is empty...

Hey there,
I have a thread posted in the DN area but have been checking for the last few hours for a reply and nothings happening.

my domain name lifepartnerschristianministries.com has 4 other sub domains...
lifepartnerschristianministries.net & .org
lifepartners.org & lpcm.net

The transfers gone thru and i've created the subdomains, copied the index.html page into each in my control panel but the redirects i think are off...
I would like the other 4 DN's to point to my main DN, lifepartnerschristianministries.com.
Can anyone help me?

Goto cPanel.Addon Domain and redirect to url.

Dont make duplicate posts. We arent here 24/7. This is all volunteer. We arent PAID to answer immediately.

You need to FIRST create the ADDON domain names in control panel, and THEN do redirects in the control panel to the domain/url as explained above.

I'm sorry Karen... I really wasnt looking for an immediate answer... i didnt see anyone even looking at my post and i was getting nervous... i've been having some glitches here lately and with bluevoda so i didn't know. I understand that you all are volunteers... and appreciate your support.

i just tried typing in the 3 of the 4 dn's and only one redirected... maybe it takes some time for the redirect to work?

Check your control panel and make sure you have them all done correctly.. make sure you have the trailing slash as well
