Thread: can't publish

Good day, www.eyeonyouinvestigations.net After redoing all my pages in the bv builder because I lost all info do to computer crash, I find I can publish changes to other pages but not my contact us page I found a form I liked and I cut and pasted it to an html box. when I preview the page it's perfect but no matter how many times I try to publish it, it always stays the same as the old page on the live site. I even tried just changing a few words to see if that would change but it didn't. I save the page each time. The address is right on the publisher so I'm confused. I appreciate any and all help. Well.. theres a form on there. dont know if its the one you wanted but i just did a test email in it.

Thanks for your time Karen, your test came trough fine. Unfortunatly that's the old form I'm trying to replace. Brad

Did you name the page the same or change it to something else?

I named it the same Karen. When I made the new form I cut all the parts of the old form from the page so even if the new form didn't show up the old form shouldn't either. Which to me means the page isn't publishing new at all. Brad

The new page is linked to contactus.html
Possibly the old page was contactus.php ??

You are publishing.. part of your pages dont have a DOT anything some are DOT COM and some are DOT NET.

You really need to fix these all.. if i were you id delete the WHOLE thing off the server.. go carefully thru each page and navigation and make sure that your pages are all correctly linked. Republish

your contact page .. needs to be in PHP. I dont know WHERE you copied and pasted the form from.. but ... copy and paste isnt a good idea. You copy and paste off someone elses page and someone elses coding and its going to cause all kinds of messes.
