Thread: mailing list

I'm sorry to bother you all for ( maybe ) such a dumb question.
question: I've set up a form (contact 1,following the tutorals) on the home of my site,which is suppost to be used as "mailing list" ( values sent to a non voda mail address ).when I use the submit button I'm sent to a index page o 404 error. Should I create a new ./success/error/page and pubblish it. If yes should I name the page with success extention ?? Is there a way to submit values avoiding the success/error page ?

If you have not created a success and error page you must (two sperate pages) do so for the form to work correctly. Just save them as success and error, no extensions and publish them. Having said this these page names are assuming you have not changed the url's in the form properties (they are pre-linked to success.html and error.html by default in the form wizzard). You could link it to your home page instead of a success page by typing index.html in the success url but it is best to acknowledge to the user that the form has indeed been sent successfully.
