Hi .. you can just reopen the index page you created and published, rebuild and publish again .. it will overwrite what appears on the internet now ..
You will want to being the build of your page, at the top and far left ..you will want to set your page margins for the width, no wider than 1000 - set anywhere between 800 and 1000 to avoid sideways scroll .. this also means that any information you add onto this page needs to be kept within this width .. tick center in browser on your page properties, and choose a color for the background and you will have a centered page that will not be too wide ..
