Thread: Help with Paypal configuration

In the paypal "add to cart" button configuration under the "URL's" tab, there is a "successful payment" URL and a "Cancel payment" URL. What are these used for? Would I need to create a webpage for each one of these? Thanks in advance for your help.

Also, I have checked the "require shipping information" box. Will I get an email giving me the customers "ship to" address? I am very new at this. I want to make sure that I have everything correct before I go live.

Yes you need to create those. Those are visuals for your customers to let them know they indeed completed the purchase.

Yes.. you will get an email from paypal-as well with the shipping address if this is where you are charging the shipping. With paypal.. always verify the money is in your account tho before you ship.

What should the "cancel payment" page state? Anyone have an example?

I would just state .. your transaction has been canceled and put a link or button to return to shopping.
