I have spent hours trying various scripts all in a vain attempt to place a simple line at the top of a webpage that shows the day, date,& time. All of these scripts assume I am some kind of super geek instead of a senile old fart. Can someone please show me how to do this simply? Thank you. 3's Grampa |

Well it depends a great deal on what you are using to build..and if not blue voda.. i assume you can get to some sort of html coding, you would insert your scripts there where you want it to appear. It would help a great deal if you showed a published page. Karen

All I want to do is have an updating date in the middle of the top copper area. Nothing fancy. or even running in the bottom status bar. I am easy. I just want to add the date to her website for her. I have dreamweaver mx 2004 that I use to do webpages but it just inserts a static date not an updating one. Thank you. 3's Grampa http://huntshomework.com/index.html Last edited by LloydOlson; 05-21-2009 at 02:56 AM. Reason: forgot url |

You insert the javascript code in the html or code view where you want the date to appear. Karen

You can also google up a free widget and place the coding. There are ton of widgets that display dates and times in fancy methods, and they give you the code for them =)
