Thread: Background on page not showing up

When I go to view on the web the background on my page does not show up. I have tried to change the file extension but there is no jpg. It was originally saved in a Comp U Serv file. Not sure what I am doing wrong. I used this same background on another webpage and it worked fine.

My background is showing up as I build my home page but when I go to view the page in my browser everything shows up but the background. Background file extension is a compuserv extension and I cannot make it a jpeg. I have used this file in other web pages and had no problem. Don't know what I am doing wrong.

The background I have on my web page does not show up in the browser. I sent this same question in the other day but cannot find it on the list so don't know if it was answered. I need to know the reason that the background does not show up. I have even gone in and renamed it a jpeg fle and still it does not show up. This same background was used in a prior web page a few years back and worked fine. I am really puzzled.

Compuserve is .Gif which is acceptable to use in BV.

There maybe something wrong with that particular pic.

Open it with a photo editor and resave the same pic as .Png or .Jpg

and then load it into your webpage.

Again.. dont make duplicate posts.. and you still havent posted a link so we can see what you have or have not done.

Everything else shows up when I bring up the browser, but not my background. I have installed it under the page properties. Please let me know what I am doing wrong. I have posted this same question over a period of several days in spots I thought relevant but have not had an answer.

You have duplicated posts and THEY HAVE BEEN ANSWERED yet you keep making new posts.. Click on your name and choose find all posts by denisewh..
