Thread: what has happend to my pages

I have been trying to sort out a problem I had with my index(home) page and my portions page

I keep getting the pages in the old format and not the pages as they had been updated when published.
I think I have sorted out the index(home)page.
The portion page is still wrong. On the pages that have been updated I have put: page updated and the date in text at the bottom of the page ,just so I or anyone who helps can see which is the correct page.
Now today I have been onto my web site and all the pages well except two, payment and wedding cakes are right. The other pages come up as either index or untitled, and this has happend over night.
What on earth has happend!!
it's all gone to pot!
I just dont understand.
I have done everything I can in case it was a browser problem but nothing seems to work.
I have spent many hours working on this for it all to go pear shaped.
If you can help me i would be very grateful. Is there some way I can hand it over to someone to sort the whole thing out for me, as this is driving me nuts. I would be happy to pay.

Good morning Alison. Deep breath and chin up chuck. Your index page looks fine. There doesn't seem to be a portion_guide.html page in your public folder. I get the error 404 message. All the other pages look and load fine. Was relieved to see in your photo that you still have a full head of hair! Don't know why your potion_guide.html is missing if you published it. Very strange. Try publishing it again, then post here and I'll check it again for you.

Ok. From what I can tell your pages are names properly. I have cleared my cache but am still getting an error 404 when trying to get to portion_guide.html

The only thing I can think of is that there is a tiny difference between the spelling. Or maybe there's a space instead of an underscore? Capital letter? If we lived closer I would come round and help you. Sorry you're having this trouble. Don't give up as you've workes so hard and achieved so much.

Look for a discrepancy in the page name (like a space where there should be the underscore etc).
