This is my first attempt at publishing a website and think i may have got it wrong, everything said published ok but i am unable to find website on any search engine! Helpa numpty please!!!!!!!!

The SE side of things can take a few hours or a few weeks. I am assuming you have submitted your site? VH will do this via a support ticket as a one off for free.
