Is there a way to put a password on a specific file (probably pdf). I know you can on directory in CP. I have been asked to add telephone list of homeowners to our site. I haven't see anything in the tutorials. www.thewoodsatsummerford.com Thanks Andy |

Only directories can be password protected. Still, that should not be a problem. Create a directory (telephone_list) add a new index page for that directory/folder. The index page will have phone numbers. Link would look like: thewoodsatsummerford.com/telephone_list Make sure that the new index page is in a seperate folder in your BV files so it doesn't overwrite the index/home page for the main site. Or....create the new directory (telephone) and add a page (i.e.) list.pdf Then the link to that page which is in a password protected directory would be: thewoodatsummerford.com/telephone/list.pdf I have purposely deleted portions of the URL to prevent them from being an active link
