Thread: uploading templates

I'm at the very first stage of building a website and I'm having trouble uploading the templates. I read all about it and watched the tutorial but it's not working. I saved the template I chose in the template ffolder but when I want to upload it from the image icon - the templates don't show up - it looks like the folder is empty.
Can you please help me because I can't continue building the website without doing this first step.

What is the file extension of the template?
To load a template using the image icon the file extension must be:
jpg, png, gif, or bmp
