Thread: new to the site

Hi all i am new to this site i downloaded the vodahost pack and to get into the control panel it says you will need your ip address to log in, i have not welcome email with that information do i have to pay for this?

Hi Torm,

BlueVoda is FREE but it will only work with a VodaHost hosting account.

You will need to buy an account to have a cpanel which you can login to.

You can buy a hosting account for one month to play around and test your
capability and if you like it you can extend it.

You will also need to buy a Domain name for your website.

If you buy a standard account you may get a domain free for one year.

Click on Prices on the top toolbar to learn more.

ok thankyou i actually have a domain can i transfer it do you know? i can get the transfer code?
and if i buy today do i have to wait for confirmation?

you can repoint the server or transfer...do a search in the forum, it has been asked a hundred times

Hi Torm,

I would suggest you buy a hosting account and request VodaHost to help you transfer from your current Registrar to Voda.

If you buy a Hosting account for only a short period to try then I would suggest you point your Domain to your Voda servers instead.

The period of change [or the time it will take] will depend on what your situation is.
