Thread: I can't get email

what I what to know is why when I send email to my new laura@producilmiodisco.org I don't get anything...

Did you set up the email in control panel? Most likely it wont work until your domain propogates.

hey I had a look before posting but only found the email topic after publishing my previous message. sorry! it was incomplete, anyway: I am checking my mail via the webmail function in my control panel (using round cube)... and I have no problems when sending messages

Yes.. but your domain doesnt technically EXIST yet until the domain name servers are live on your account.

I set up my mail using the parameters I got in the email I got with all details... what does it mean "it wont work until your domain propogates"? I thought my site was on the web, the only thing I didn't do yet is publishing the index page...

Well it wont be on the web until you publish an index page, and the domain name itself RESOLVES to the server you point it to. And.. you will have to login into WEBMAIL or login to cpanel then webmail to READ it.
