Hi.
I've redone our website and all the pages are coming up correctly except for one... on ever link it still shows up as the old page.. it is a .php... does that have anything to do with it?
the site is www.lifepartnerschristianministries.com

thanks
Sarah

Since it has a form it should be php extension.. change your links to the php page.

Well the page i opened was linked as above and thats the one thta had the funky writing on it.. you need to open it in bv.. right click on the page.. properties and change it to php..save.. republish and FIX your links to the php page and not to the html

No..its not your control panel.. however you could delete ALL pages php and html and REPUBLISH THE NEW ONES correctly.

I think you have probably NAMED them differently..

Satelite page goes to contact us
http://www.lifepartnerschristianmini...contact_us.php

Newsletter goes to the old newsletter page
and services goes to contactus.php as well
http://www.lifepartnerschristianmini...ontact_us.html

your NEW newsletter is actually published to
http://www.lifepartnerschristianmini...ewsletter.html

which AGAIN the properties need to be changed to PHP, by right clicking on the page, page properties.. change to php, save and republish

same with SERVICES
http://www.lifepartnerschristianmini..._question.html

Dont forget to change, save, publish

Karen

I was aware that the saved names of the pages were different then the link names on the nav bar and the page title i made too but didnt think that would effect it...i'll change the pages to match the link names and then change the links...
i did save as a php but didnt change the page properties to a php extension... so i changed that too..
i'll see how these changes effect everything and let you know...lol
i so wish i was more savvy with this stuff but amazing that i stumble and make it as far as i do...lol
thank you for all your help!

php or html is an EXTENSION not a name. however, long as you understand that they are DIFFERENT and need the links appropriately thats fine.
